Meetings and Events Club (MEC)MSU Meeting and Events Club (MEC) is Michigan State University’s student chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) with the opportunity to become a student member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI). We are focused on providing students with an opportunity to contribute to and foster understanding of the meeting and events industry. As a club within the Hospitality Association, we are committed to involvement of philanthropic, fundraising, and educational events within our community and the meeting and events field. Society for Hospitality Food Management (SHFM)The Society for Hospitality Food Management promotes non-commercial foodservice knowledge and contacts through discussion, speakers and meetings.
